Brooklyn New York Wedding Pics

As a life-long Brooklyn resident (born and raised!), one of my biggest priorities in creating gorgeous wedding photos is using locations that aren't overdone. Yes, I'm always happy to shoot in popular places such as Brooklyn Bridge Park, DUMBO, Prospect Park, Williamsburg and LIC, but my goal is to utilize hidden nooks that other photographers may not necessarily know about. This is what sets one photographer's work apart from another. I want your images to be unique.

This particular image was photographed in the Gowanus / Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, during a wedding at Frankies 457 - one of the most well known and beloved restaurants in Brooklyn. Aside from being absolutely delicious, Frankies has a stunning indoor-outdoor event space located in their equally-stunning backyard. The space is perfect for intimate affairs, from small weddings to engagement, birthday, and baby or bridal showers. The neighborhood surrounding the restaurant is a 50/50 mix of residential and industrial buildings, from classic tree-lined brownstone streets to old school Brooklyn cement factories. I thrive in these environments, as it's impossible to come away with anything but an eclectic variety of beautiful images that represent not only the location, but more importantly - the client.

Location: 2-56 4th St, Brooklyn, NY 11231.
